Real Freedom

The word “freedom,” as defined by some dictionaries, speaks about freedom as the power or right to act, speak or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.   If this is true, then you are free to choose the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved by your own thoughts and ideas and also free from those of other people.

"Real Freedom Is To The Free"

You are the only person who really knows exactly what you will do.  Because, it is within you that all decisions are made that you choose to act upon.  In your imagination you can see whatever you want to see.  And whatever you observe in imagination is a reality.  Just as whatever you see outside your imagination is a physical reality.  Neither one is more real than the other, merely, one is mentally visible, the other physically visible.  If you did not have use of imagination, you and your world would cease to exist.

From your imagined ideas you direct yourself to move toward what you mentally see.  Your imagined images of how you see yourself guide you toward everything that is attractive to that image.  In other words, if you see yourself as someone who lives a wealthy and luxurious lifestyle, you will take yourself to all places in harmony with that vision.  It is not by accident that you find yourself in any given circumstance because your vision of yourself guided you there.

"Snap Into It"

The often used expression:  “snap out of it,” is quite possibly the worst advice anyone could give to another person.  If it means to snap out of your imagination and live exclusively in the results of other people, blatantly, that is absurd.  For one thing, you exclusively own your results.  You own all of your experiences because you are the cause of them.  It is from your own thinking and the repetitive attention you give to your own thoughts that cause you to take action.  And action causes reaction.  The reaction is your result!  You can no more change a result by focusing on it than you can sprout wings and fly.  A result has already occurred; it’s in the past.  However, you can choose to direct your attention on to something different, perhaps something you really love and consequently experience a new and better result.

Go into your imagination and see better and clearer the things you really want to do and become active in your vision now.  You are whatever you decide to be.  So, if you want to move your imagined possession into physical reality, then you must focus on it to the exclusion of any contrary thought.  This means that you must act as if it is your physical reality now.

To act according to your imagined images does not mean to neglect your physical responsibilities or to perform unnatural acts.  Moreover, this means to keep your mind focused on what you want, to see the good that surrounds you and to make decisions based upon the better vision you have of yourself.

"The Best Thing You Can Do For Another Person Is Improve Yourself"

To do this is an exercise of your real freedom.  Decide to choose wisely from the perspective of who you are in your imagined image of your best self.  Keep your eyes fixed on what you really want.  The shortest distance between where you are versus where you want to go is a straight line.  You walk that straight line at the speed of your own focused attention.  It is now, in the present moment, that you possess all freedom.
