The Upside Down Paradigm

The Upside Down Paradigm

As you share in celebration of independence for the area called United States, remember to celebrate the freedom you have to design your own life.  Your ideas represent gifts you have now that make a difference in the lives of other people.  The upside down paradigm, or incorrect pattern of thoughts, hold you back from achieving the goals you really want and expect to reach.

The story about the formation of the United States presents an excellent example of how one idea and a decision started this great concept.  In Napoleon Hill’s classic book, “Think and Grow Rich”, he eloquently illustrates how desire to achieve a goal, coupled with an organized plan, followed persistently and carried out in unwavering faith tends to transmute into its physical equivalent.  Yes, you can reach your goals by following a universal formula that guarantees the result you expect.

Too often the formula for achieving goals is applied in reverse.  The expectation of a harvest before a planted seed is nurtured to maturity contrasts with natural law.  It simply makes no sense to believe you can force a goal to materialize without a plan.  And action steps performed first become necessary to reach any goal.  Somewhere along the line you learned that there are forces against you.  You learned to fight in order to achieve your desires.  Nothing could be further from the truth!

Truth Sets You Free

If you see an enemy at all, you see yourself in opposition to truth.  Truth calls for faith and faith makes room for truth.  To imagine an enemy outside of you that you must attack sets up an enemy within yourself.  This “alien thought” at war with you deprives you of peace.  It splits your mind into two camps which seem wholly irreconcilable.  No one attacks without intent to hurt.  There is no exception to this.  An attack upon another person in any form is an attack upon you.  The fight within projects onto your world as something you experience.   Because you caused the situation by incorrect thinking, change your mind.

The remedy to inner conflict and achievement of your real desires comes as a result of getting to know yourself and the power you yield in every moment to create and to extend your ideas to the world.  What have you been putting off?  Ask yourself and then make a decision to act on it today.

Change your paradigm.
Be reminded to change your paradigm.

One of my mentors, Bob Proctor, says: “All highly successful people take action on their ideas.  They move quickly, decisively and go immediately toward the goal with persistence.”  I’ll add that if a goal is possible to reach, the means to do so must be possible as well.

Make a decision to reverse the pattern of thought that stops you from reaching your goals.  It is up to you to choose what you want to do.  Follow your own plan for achieving your goal.  Upside "the upside down paradigm" and you will regain control of your mind and cause the achievement of your goals just as you expect.
